Performance Management

Historically, performance management has been known by a variety of labels: employee reviews, appraisals, evaluations, etc. By any name, the process can be largely frustrating, ultimately adding little or no value to the organization. Frequently, the primary motivation for managers to complete performance reviews has been to get the HR review “cops” off their backs. An annual, burdensome task that was painful to complete.

Today’s applications allow both the employees and managers to provide input into the process by facilitating an ongoing dialogue between them. A by-product of this dialogue can be the capturing of review content throughout the year alleviating managers from having to commit significant blocks of time at year end to complete performance evaluations.

Goal Management

By and large, your employees work hard, some exceptionally so. But are they’re working on activities that support your organizations primary business objectives? Or are some employees working hard but pulling on the rope in a different direction. Goal Management applications provide an environment where employee objectives can be identified with input from the employee, their manager and the company. Applications provide various level of visibility so that the company can ensure everyone’s activity is in support of organizational objectives. Those objectives can be tracked and reported on instantaneously providing management with the tools to steer the organization on the proper course.
